Getting a birth session inquiry is always so much fun! There’s excitement that comes with a new little one and now that we are in the midst of raising one too, I love these inquiries even more! It’s also incredibly humbling when someone asks me to capture something as special and monumental as their first day as husband and wife or the birth of a child.
So, when I first heard from Corey and Tymeisha, I quickly found out how many friends we had in common and was looking forward to meeting them! They are genuine, they are in love with each other, they have a precious little girl and they’ll be welcoming their baby boy in August. I’m so excited to be in the delivery room with them to capture his arrival and to be one of the first people to meet him :-)
We met last week for their maternity photos and we were all so thankful that we’d decided to do a sunrise session since we were able to get back inside long before the temperature soared into the 90s later that day. We’d actually rescheduled their session several times because of all the rain earlier in the month, but I’m SO glad we waited because the light was worth waiting for!
