Rachel + Tony | Campbell’s Covered Bridge Engagement

“Their spot” is literally just that.  A parking spot outside of Tony’s apartment building.  As they dated, they spent much time outside talking, laughing, and dreaming.  And one night, in their parking spot, under the lamplight and the stars, Tony got down on one knee and asked Rachel to marry him.  It was perfectly sweet, perfectly romantic, and perfectly them.

So as I helped Rachel brainstorm ideas on places for their engagement photos, the only spot that came to mind that had meaning for them was this parking spot.  And she claimed it was nothing special to look at, but I just knew we needed some photos there.  We needed to document where so many words had been shared, dreams had been uttered aloud, and this next stage of their lives began.

So on a perfectly overcast fall day we ventured out for engagement photos and had a blast.  Thank you guys for trusting me with your spot… I can’t imagine having started anywhere else!  And thank you for allowing me to document your love.  I can NOT wait for your beach wedding in April!

Something they’re really good at doing together is laughing…

We then hopped into our cars and headed a little north to visit Campbell’s Covered Bridge – the only covered bridge left in South Carolina!
It’s quite the popular spot – especially in the fall, so while we waited “our turn”, we took advantaged of the beautiful surroundings.

I just love this one…

Favorite!!

I don’t know about y’all, but I believe they make this bridge look GOOD.

Their laughter made me laugh and fall in love with love even more.

Our last spot was at a friend’s farm… where her grandpa just happened to be working on restoring an old jeep….
Which made the perfect spot for Rachel’s earrings and her gorgeous diamond!

Oh my word, I love this.

Tony, excellent job on her ring, my friend.  It’s almost as exquisite as she is.

Rachel, you have such a 1920’s glamorous air about you.  In other words, you’re gorgeous.

Tony, maybe it’s the truck you drive, but I feel like that Jeep is a good fit for you too!

There may have been some skipping involved…

Dear fall, I adore you.

Thank you guys for allowing me into your lives to capture your love…

Amazing job, Sabrina. So many unique ideas – like the ring on the bolt of the Jeep. Wow. You so captured the personality and relationship of this couple. Never having met them, I feel like I know a lot about them from your pictures. And I agree – Fall is so wonderful!
